Here you will find the list of risk factors that show the necessity of medical alarm. Having two or more risk factors below may indicate a need for a Medical Alarm System:

• Mobility assisted devices (walkers, crutches, canes, etc) usage

• Necessity to take several medications a day

• History of one or more falls and/or inability to get up by yourself

• Age of more than 75 years

• Hospitalization within the past 12 months

• Physical weakness

• Sensory deficits (vision, hearing, balance)

• Medicine management problems

• Dangerous neighborhood or feeling unsafe at home

• Uncorrectable home safety hazards (stairs, bathtubs, etc)
